“Mature Medjool palm” is not a complete specification. Palms with the same nominal clear-trunk height may differ in trunk character, crown density, prior fruiting, diamond-cut finish, root-ball requirements and transport footprint. Those differences affect appearance, handling and price.
Seven details to define
What photographs can—and cannot—confirm
Current field images can show trunk form, finish, scale and general condition. They do not replace an agreed measurement method, a current availability check or an arrival inspection. For grouped installations, explain whether exact matching or natural variation serves the design intent.
Make the logistics part of the specification
A palm that fits the plan must also fit the route and receiving operation. Trailer layout, crown protection, securement, legal dimensions, site access and unloading capacity should be considered before final selection. Use our Loading & Transportation guide to coordinate the handoff.
